Irtysh ( Russia: Иртыш, Kazakhstan: Ertisa / Ертiс, Tatar Cyrillic: Иртеш, America: IRTE, Chinese: É'ěrqísī he / 额尔齐斯河) Mongol: Эрчис is a river in Siberia and is the chief tributary of the Ob River . Its name means White River. Irtysh is the main tributary of Tobol. The Ob-Irtysh form of a large swimming pool in Asia, which covers most of western Siberia and the Altai Mountains.
